The red color adds a certain drama and emotional power to the paintings, evoking strong feelings and emphasizing passion. Associations with the color red are linked to passion. The black-and-white palette with red elements makes the picture cleaner and brighter. The “Red” series of 2017 appeared after I immersed myself in the exploration of various sexual freedoms in Berlin. The “Red” series is one of the first series aimed at exploring sexuality, fetishism, and kink after my immersion in the Berlin scene of sexual freedom.
