Here are the most significant projects that have played a key role in Fabifa’s creative journey. Each of these projects carries its own unique story and level of complexity, showcasing innovation and scale through large formats, walls, and installations. These works are notable for their themes and have become iconic in her artistic career, significantly influencing her development as an artist.

CYBERBASE

Project Cyberbase is a groundbreaking tape art installation featuring interactive elements, musical accompaniment, and visual projections. This unique collaboration with several artists included the innovative use of copper tape for conducting signals. The full Cyberbase project includes not only an interactive installation but also a virtual game and NFTs. The combination of these elements created a distinctive and immersive experience, making Cyberbase a highly acclaimed project.

Modern Mona Lisa is a contemporary interpretation of Leonardo da Vinci’s iconic painting, serving as the initial inspiration for the Cyberbase project. This reinterpretation includes collaborations with various artists, DJs, influencers, and encompasses multiple art forms such as tapestry, body art, and NFTs. The project blends these diverse elements to create a modern, multi-faceted homage to the classic masterpiece.

Fabifa installed her art on a huge glass wall of the facade of the Illuseum in Berlin. This collaboration with the renowned Berlin museum features a tape artwork made from car wrap film on a 25-meter facade, incorporating elements of illusions, real muses, and a metaphorical interpretation of the museum’s soul.

The artwork on a twenty-meter wall of the former spy station at Teufelsberg explores the theme of liberation from gender color stereotypes. This large-scale piece challenges conventional associations with color, promoting a message of freedom and inclusivity.

HAU


In 2021, during the lockdown, Fabifa collaborated with the Berlin theater Hebbel am Ufer on a project focused on the Belarusian protests. This collaboration resulted in a significant artwork displayed on the theater’s facade, reflecting the themes of political struggle and social change.

“Marseille Mermaid” is a tape art installation created for an exhibition in Marseille, France, as part of the A-part festival. The artwork represents the muse of Marseille, the mermaid, embodying the city’s soul and essence. This installation marked the first time Marseille residents were introduced to the medium of tape art, which caused a stir in the press
