Tape Art Convention 2022

In May 2022, Fabifa presented her work at a major tape art convention organized by the Tape Art collective Tape That, held at the Napoleon Complex in Berlin. This event brought together tape artists from around the world, showcasing a wide variety of styles and creative innovations. Fabifa’s contribution featured a room filled with pieces from her “Hidden Emotions” and “EcoTech” series, which garnered significant interest from attendees and media.

The “Hidden Emotions” series delves into the nuanced and often concealed dimensions of human emotions. Using vibrant neon colors and dynamic compositions, Fabifa captures moments of deep reflection, interaction, and emotional tension. The portraits in this collection, rendered in bold hues of pink, green, blue, and purple, offer a glimpse into different emotional states, encouraging viewers to explore the complex landscape of internal experiences.

Alongside this, Fabifa’s “EcoTech” series was also on display. This collection examines the intersection between technology and nature, blending futuristic motifs with organic forms. The vibrant color schemes and detailed designs create a visual dialogue that reflects on the interplay between the environment and technological progress.

The room curated by Fabifa at the Napoleon Complex provided an immersive experience. The thoughtful arrangement of the artworks, enhanced by neon lighting and dark walls, created an impactful and engaging setting. This environment emphasized Fabifa’s skill in using tape art to convey intricate themes and narratives.
