Pokal Final 2024

Fabifa has been collaborating with the German Football Association (DFB) for several years, creating large murals for the VIP section at the DFB-Pokal finals. This ongoing partnership, which began three years ago, allows Fabifa full creative freedom to design a 6×3 meter wall reflecting the themes of the competing teams. Each year’s mural not only highlights the rivalry and excitement of the DFB-Pokal final but also showcases Fabifa’s ability to blend sports and art seamlessly. This collaboration is a testament to the power of creativity in capturing the essence of competition and the spirit of the game.

In 2024, Bayer Leverkusen faced 1. FC Kaiserslautern in the final. Fabifa depicted the players in full-length, dynamic poses as superheroes inspired by the teams’ mascots and symbols. From Bayer Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz was illustrated as a lion-man, representing the team’s symbol, a lion. From 1. FC Kaiserslautern, Ragnar Ache was portrayed as a flying devil, reflecting the team’s devil symbol.

Pokal Final 2023

For the 2023 final between Eintracht Frankfurt and RB Leipzig, Fabifa continued with the superhero theme. She illustrated the players in full-length, dynamic flying poses inspired by superhero characters, using the teams’ colors of red, white, and black.

The player on the left, in a black and white suit with red accents, represents Eintracht Frankfurt. His name is Randal Kolo Muani.

The player on the right, in a red and white suit, represents RB Leipzig. His name is Christopher Nkunku.

This mural highlighted the strength and determination of the players, adding a dramatic flair to the VIP section.

Pokal Final 2022

In the 2022 DFB-Pokal final, which featured SC Freiburg against RB Leipzig, Fabifa depicted two large portraits of players from each team. These portraits captured the intense emotions of the rivalry, with each player facing their opponent, seemingly ready to strike the ball and shout at each other. The central element of the mural was the cup they were vying for, emphasizing the high stakes of the competition.

  • The player on the left represents SC Freiburg and is Nils Petersen.
  • The player on the right represents RB Leipzig and is Benjamin Henrichs.
