Daemmisol
Fabifa collaborated with the construction brand Daemmisol, receiving complete creative freedom to design a mural for the company’s main office wall. Embracing a touch of humor and surrealism, Fabifa created a self-portrait in the style of Gulliver. The mural depicts a large, surrealistic image of herself, sitting in the River Spree in Berlin near the Oberbaumbrücke, as if she is constructing the city and the bridge around her.
This artwork seamlessly blends her theme with the construction theme of Demisol, while maintaining her creative freedom and unique touch through the medium of tape art. She titled this piece “iBuild.”
The creation of this mural coincided with Fabifa’s exploration of her Belarusian identity. Consequently, the self-portrait features Belarusian symbols representing female strength, willpower, and rebirth.
The final result is a striking blend of personal and cultural symbolism with the industrial theme of construction, showcased in a large, captivating tape art mural.
